‘Tell Me Lies’ Cat Missal And Tom Ellis Praise Intimacy Coordinator’s Role In Steamy Bree And Oliver Scenes: “It Makes Intrinsically Uncomfortable Stuff Slightly More Comfortable” Jimmy Kimmel taunted Donald Trump on Live after the former president was blocked yet again from using another artist’s music for his presidential campaign. After staunchly defending Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn’s controversial break dancing performance at the Olympics, Kimmel turned his sights to another “accomplished dancer,” Trump, whom he jokingly called “Ronald Raygun.” Kimmel explained that Trump “has not yet issued an apology to any of the artists whose music he’s been playing at his rallies without permission. “A number of musicians, including Rihanna and The Rolling Stones, sent Trump a cease-and-desist. They said, stop playing our songs,” he said. “A judge yesterday ordered him to stop playing the song ‘Hold On I’m Coming’ at his rallies.” The estate of Isaac Hayes, who co-wrote the song for the duo Sam and Dave, filed a lawsuit against the Trump campaign claiming it infringed their copyright and should pay damages, per the Associated Press. He laughed at the title along with the audience before adding, “He can still play it with his porn stars but the rallies, no.” While VP Kamala Harris got permission from Beyoncé to use her song “Freedom,” Kimmel pointed out that Trump is stuck using “Fish Heads” by Barnes & Barnes. “I can think of no two words that describe the Trump presidency more precisely than ‘fish heads,’” Kimmel joked. A post shared by Jimmy Kimmel Live (@jimmykimmellive) Kimmel took several shots at the former president during his opening monologue Wednesday (Sept. 4) night, including an entire clip segment of Donald Trump stuttering and mumbling at his rallies. The late night host also aired a clip from a recent interview where Trump denied that he ever attended Jeffrey Epstein’s island, saying, “I’m not involved, I never went to his island… fortunately. A lot of people did. But fortunately, I was not one of them.” Kimmel asked the audience, “Am I nuts or does he sound disappointed?” As the audience laughed, he did his best Trump impersonation as he said, “Fortunately, it came really close. Wanted to go, heard it was a lot of fun. Fortunately, I couldn’t make my schedule work out.” This week marks Kimmel’s first week back on late night after taking a summer hiatus. Jimmy Kimmel Live airs on weeknights at 11:350:35c on ABC.
